Ambassador of Austria, Mr. Werner Brandstetter and his wife Leonie Maria Brandstetter hosted members of the diplomatic sector, citizens of Brasília and Brazilian government authorities at the Embassy of Austria.

The invitation warned that the event would "give wings". It was no lie. On April 26, Brasília was astounded with the party promoted by the Embassy of Austria and the successful Austrian company Red Bull Energy Drink.
Many songs led the guests to dance.
When the first TV advertisement of the campaign went on air, the slogan "Red Bull te dá asas" (Red Bull gives you wings) was on the lips and on the minds of everyone, especially of the young public, preferential clients of Red Bull in Brazil . The invitation sent by the Ambassador of Austria, Mr. Werner Brandstetter, to the Ambassadors, diplomats, authorities and citizens of Brasília, called the guests to a party that would "give wings", and so it did!
The invitation continued the humorous tone, announcing "speech of the honorable DJ" and advised all to leave formality outside the doors of the Embassy. And, indeed, although some guests, probably too much used to it, still wore their suits and ties, the atmosphere of the party was nothing but relaxing and pure fun. The party had hundreds of guests, among citizens of Brasília, ambassadors and other diplomats, business men and Brazilian government authorities.

Two bars, a metallic structure with lights, fog and a colored, twinkling dancing floor in the middle of the loan, surrounded by big screens and projectors showing radical sports, music, cinema and other events that Red Bull has supported and sponsored. By the dance floor, the big Humvee carried the "honorable DJ", playing dancing hits that left no one stopped.
Many songs led the guests to dance.
"The idea of the party came from the Ambassador", explained Mr. Kozak, the General Director of Red Bull in Brazil . "He has accompanied our work in Brazil and he wanted to throw this party, so that his friends would know Red Bull better and when he talked to us we said yes right away and decided to bring some joy and "give wings" to all the people who have been working so hard here in Brasília. And it is nice to be part of an event like this because Brazil is a great market for Red Bull, it seems it was created for our product, with so many young, dynamic, creative people", said Mr. Kozak. "Parties like these are really our life. We are always involved on fun projects, sports, parties, and Red Bull was extremely well received by the Brazilian people and they are, really, our 'ambassadors', what matters to Red Bull".

A wonderful dinner was also served to those guests who came straight from work to the event. Later, the Ambassador Werner Brandstetter gave a speech to the public, recommending that they all remembered to drink some Red Bull the next morning, if they felt tired when going to work.
Ambassador Werner Brandstetter gave a witty speech to the guests.
THE GUIDE talked to Ambassador Brandstetter. Austria is much known because of the white horses, the amazing sights, the foundations, the music, the painting, the arts. The Ambassador explained that the idea of throwing this spectacular party was to show the citizens of Brasília that Austria is more than History and it is not only Culture. "As ambassador, I have to portrait a certain picture of my country, and tonight what we want to portrait is that Austria is a very modern country, with the help of one very modern Austrian company, Red Bull, which is very successful the whole world over, just like other 70 Austrian companies, in different sectors, that have businesses here in Brazil. But I also want to convince the Austrian companies that there are more in Brazil than the very modern state of São Paulo . And I hope to fulfill these expectations we are trying to do it by gathering all our friends and enjoying these pleasant moments".

The atmosphere of the party was, really, of no formality whatsoever, just a gathering of friends, wanting to have a good time. At the dance floor, the guests danced for hours, including special guests, such as the Ambassador and Ambassadress of Chile, Mr. Osvaldo Puccio and his wife Mrs. Ingrid Kohlhofer, who is an Austrian citizen, and Ambassador of Spain Mr. Ricardo Peidró and his wife Nice Cardoso Dorea.
