The Ambassadress of South Africa, Mrs. Lindiwe Zulu and the other south-African diplomats and their families made on December 20th of 2006, a lunch with the objective to help the Manancial da Vida day care center, located on the satellite city of Santa Maria.
It was set up for the event, at the embassy's garden, a leisure area for the day care center's children. Inflatable toys and an elastic bed left the dozens children, that were at the event, full of joy.




The Ambassadress Lindiwe Zulu welcomed everyone in a very fondly and casual way, showing her simplicity and will to make the difference for those needy children from the day care center. The Administrator of Santa Maria, Mr. Indalécio Martins Dal Secchi, the Senator Joaquim Roriz, the District Congresswoman Jaqueline Roriz and the President of The Guide Business Consultancy, Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira were present at the event.




After the arrival of all the guests, the Ambassadress Lindiwe Zulu made a short thanking speech and emphasized the need of the Manancial da Vida day care center in receive donations and the concession of an area to set up its installations in Santa Maria. Following the Ambassadress' speech, the day care administrator, Mrs. Candida Chaves de Matos said thankful words for the initiative of the south-African diplomats and for the interest of the present authorities in solving the problems of the children in her day care center. The administrator of Santa Maria, Mr. Indalécio Dal Secchi and the Senator Joaquim Roriz also delivered a short speech, emphasizing their engagement given to solve the actual problems of the Manancial da Vida day care center.


After the solemnity, the children were surprised by the unexpected arrival of Santa Claus, who distributed Christmas presents for the children.




THE GUIDE congratulates the Ambassadress Lindiwe Zulue and the other diplomats from the embassy of South Africa for the important helping initiative for the Manancial da Vida day care center and thanking also the interest of the Administrator, Mr. Intalécio Martins Dal Secchi, Senator Joaquim Roriz and the District Congresswoman Jaqueline Roriz, in searching for a solution for the day care's problem.
