| This year was marked by the departure of many diplomat friends and also by the arrival of many others. As usual, the sadness from the farewell mixes with the joy of making new friends. |

| We left for the end this event's material that was, in our opinion, the most exciting event of 2006. The Ambassadresses' Group Party (Festa do Grupo das Embaixatrizes) took place at Clube Naval and was a strong demonstration of the Diplomatic Corps union. The buffet of typical food of each participation country, the prize raffles and the contagious dancing liveliness of that event is an example of organization, togetherness and excitement that can made by a determined group. THE GUIDE congratulates the Ambassadresses' Group for the party that, for us, represents a nice work from the members of the Diplomatic Corps and its family members for the important social causes in Brazil. |
