The event happened on the early afternoon of July 3rd at the embassy of Ukraine in Brasilia. Among the guests, there were ambassadors, diplomats, Brazilian congressmen and members of the Brazilian Federal Government. |

Afterwards, the Ambassador decorated the Brazilian senator, Mrs. Serys Slhessarenko, with a Diploma and a Medal of Merit Honor for her contribution on the development of the relations between Brazil and Ukraine. |

After five years of the independence of Ukraine, that country promulgated its constitution, marking the final phase of the development of the Ukrainian society. That moment was a great mark for the people of Ukraine. |

The Parliamentary Group Brazil-Ukraine was reactivated after 15 years of the retaken of the Diplomatic Relations between the countries. During this period, the relations between Brazil and Ukraine have been in constant growth. |
